Has the idea of remote learning bloomed due to the pandemic?

It has been a year since the horrible pandemic Covid 19 took place. It has not just affected the world’s economy but also disturbed the education system and businesses. Closures of educational institutes have impacted 94 % of the student population. People have completely gone shelterless, jobless during this time. Talking about education, Kids were unfortunately promoted to next grades based on their online classes with lenient ranking. Don’t know if it’s a pro or con of remote learning. But one thing understood for sure is that we now really need a better remote learning system.

It is said that online meeting platforms have earned the most this year. Zoom has gained popularity through Covid-19. It was the only way left for all the working people and students to interact with each other. Research suggests that online learning has been shown to increase retention of information, and take less time, meaning the changes coronavirus have caused might be here to stay. In response to significant demand, many online teaching platforms have also started giving free access to their services.

The EdTech system is flourishing due to this pandemic. While some worry about this huge transition whereas others plan to make remote learning as a part of their “New Normal”.
